The 2006 Distance Learning Conference theme reflects the changes occurring in community colleges and universities that demand educators keep abreast of innovative strategies. Instructors have a wealth of knowledge to offer colleagues, and the majority of presentations at the conference are conducted by instructors who want to share ideas and techniques.
The TBR Distance Education Committee is dedicated to disseminating the best academic practices of distance education and addressing issues of distance education delivery and instruction. The conference strands and sessions are designed to showcase instructors who are bringing technology and active participation into the curriculum. We are proud to recognize the talent of instructors in our own institutions.
